Dampa is a wet market where you can buy fresh seafood and immediately have these cooked at a “palutuan” or cookery. Aling Tonya’s comes highly recommended for being clean and most accessible to the market vendors. The house specialties are the adobong pusit (black squid) and buttered shrimp, outstanding for their freshness. Dampa patrons, however, love to come here to order lobsters and crabs which may be cooked at any of the palutuans as well.
